Actually, technically not. in XHTML nor HTML do they require an Alternative tag. This is only required when you are checking for... the like accessability or the W3C-A/W3c-AA/W3c-AAA validator.

That's saying if you don't use Homebrew. I have some pretty good homebrew that utilizes my psp pretty well. It uses the USB port as a mouse + keyboard, and it can run AJAX/Javascript and all that good stuff.
