It works a few hours or a day or two and back to square one! How can I save my files and host it some other place, maybe by making a new account?

I have practically not seen my site for months now, except when it appears suddenly for a few hours in between. I therefore want to move away to a different host OR another account on this host itself. Is there any way I can retrieve my site and move it? or could you help me shift it?
