    Be careful

I've seen this happen so many times at so many levels. Text is a harder thing to comprehend when it comes down to emotions of the other user, or feelings/motivations. When I write my posts, even when I'm angry I try not to make it sound harsh if I were to disagree/argue over something. Now...

Does anyone use Stumble Upon ?

I don't really use it unless I come across something on there via Google.

    Get non-free software for free

I've seen this site. It's interesting on what may show up from time to time. Many of the things they give away aren't of much use to me, but I'd love to see some CUDA video transcoding/video making software show up someday.

    Neat security software

Who is your ISP? For what I know the ISP modems these days either go into bridge mode which can allow you to direct connection a PC and a router, or the modems themselves are routers. Honestly, the ISPs don't care, even though you can buy their equipment for networking and they can smack you...

    MS reversed in mice

Well, this does sound promising. I'm hoping some cures will come out of this.

    Neat security software

That is unfortunately what happens when there is only one PC in a home and it is a family PC. You need to use preventative measures on those things as you have done. Here, I have more PCs than humans in my home (10 PCs) which all have network access, as well as a bunch of internet enabled...

    Who Here Grabbed Windows 7?

The GeForce 440MX is a legacy video card pretty much. nVidia stopped making drivers for that card back in 2007 I believe so basically there is no Windows 7 driver for it. You're stuck with VGA mode with that card.

    Neat security software

Free Malware infested PC Cursors/Smiley Packs/Video Codec/Video Converting software anyone? I for a matter of fact got home last night from cleaning up a PC which had modified PC cursors, Smiley Packs, and some other software that was giving the PC malware. Every piece of that software...

Microsoft banned from selling Microsoft Word in the US?

Well, apparently the US Patent whores are in full swing again, because now I'm running illegal software on my PCs from Microsoft (not those machines I have running OpenOffice). Read the articles and see for yourself. http://mashable.com/2009/08/12/word-patent/...

I think someone erased the logo. I put my text at the bottom though :)

    Who Here Grabbed Windows 7?

What video cards/devices are you having problems with? (give me the model numbers and manufacturer please). I'm emulating Windows 7 in a Virtual Machine under specs that an 11 year old PC has, and it runs just fine with a score of 1.0 xD. Of course, if I let it emulate my full PC hardware it...

    Internet is being stupid, why?

For DSL running over the ATM network and not a frame relay, an MTU of 1488 is actually suggested to make up the 4 bytes of overhead the ATM network takes. PPPoE/PPPoA already requires the 8 bytes of overhead for room, hence the MTU of 1492. If his modem is using DHCP to the ISP though, he can...

Ipod Touch WIFI and Firmware 3.0

The iPod Touch, no matter what generation it has only supports Wireless G. That's all it really needs, as it's trying to save battery power (which is why it runs at a reduced wireless speed) and it'd have no use for that raw speed anyways. My iPod Gen 2 is using Wireless G compatibility mode on...

    Trackmania Nations Server!

May I just point out that for those of you who have Steam, you can get Trackmania via Steam as well should you prefer that method.

What do you choose for your blogging platform? Blogger or Wordpress?

Well, I do prefer Wordpress myself, but obviously I'd install it on my own server as I'd like to have full control over the scripts I'm using for modifications sake and such.

    Google's New Operating System

Any operating system can boot and initialize in under 20 seconds if it's tuned just right. Vista boots up within that time frame on my gaming machine. I've also gotten Windows XP to boot up in the same time frame, even less on fast machines running SATA II drive and lots of RAM (ever seen XP...

Ipod Touch WIFI and Firmware 3.0

Wireless N at the moment which is finally out of Draft stage is capable of 300Mbps of transfer. You're more likely to get that speed on the 5Ghz frequencies (with less range on it as higher frequencies = shorter distance but more bandwidth) than the 2.4Ghz because of noise and of course, due to...

    About Computer

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a Nokia Sambian Powered Smart Phone. The grammar is very poor though so even I'm having a hard time understanding it. But yes, smart phones now a days are coming close to netbooks when it comes down to usability. You still can't do very big things on those...

    Neat security software

Common Sense is the ultimate tool to use for defending people's computers the best. Obviously I use it since I am the one having to deal with these on a regular basis on other PCs I'm asked to clean up (going to take a look at one tonight that I got called up about at 8PM last night). Common...

    Anyone use this program...?

MalwareBytes is a good program. I use it quite frequently along with HijackThis! when cleaning nasties from PCs. I find that SUPERAntiSpyware is also a great program as well to try. Upon removing programs, SUPERAntiSpyware can in fact terminate the processes of infected files if they're running...
