What ever happened to space sims?

Well, other than Orbiter, I wouldn't know what happened to the space sims. I'm not a big player of simulation games, but I will pick up on them now and again.

Man stopped at airport for having no fingerprints

Well this news article is pretty interesting. I know it is possible for skin to peal off due to medications or infections, but I never thought that you could lose your entire fingerprint due to a medication.

    Should we target GeoCities users?

I didn't see that link, so thanks. I'll be sure to look into all of this and work with the staff and anyone else to make these tutorials. What I had in mind for getting the tutorials known, was for parts throughout the site, plaster a link to a page dedicated to the tutorials somewhere where...

    Should we target GeoCities users?

I'm going to be talking to the x10Hosting staff about the tutorials as soon as the time comes. I'm going to see what they'd like to be added, as well as me throwing in some things that the community itself would appreciate, as well as getting permission to possibly create another temporary free...

    internet explorer 8

I have Internet Explorer 8 installed on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. It seems to be quicker than IE7 and pages are finally not rendering as broken/messed up as they were in IE7. Just a few performance tweaks and some crashes that need fixing and that's basically it, that plus IE8 is still...

    Should we target GeoCities users?

That would be a great thing for a video tutorial to be. Summer is right around the corner now so I should be able to begin working on the tutorials, as well by then, hopefully the server changes are all set.

Playing DOS games in vista/XP/Linux like old school.

I've ran some old DOS Games on the modern Operating systems :) It's a good thing they still work too. All you need is a little knowledge of command prompt. Other than that, some of those DOS games I can't even play because they run way to fast (try playing Pong when you can't even see the pixel...

    Looking for more staff..

I have two infractions for too short of posts in the Crossfire forum, but that's all. Other than that, I can become staff if positions are open in roughly two months.

(WinXP Home SP3) Cannot access drive even after remapping letter

Very odd. To me, it sounds like the file system itself on that partition has gone corrupt, so my only suggestion to do now if it shows RAW everywhere is to pull out your recovery software and start recovering files from that partition.

    Recommend good AM2+/AM3 socket motherboard?

I'd say look at ASUS. They've got some pretty good boards out. If you're looking at MSI, they're pretty good as well. I'd take note that some of the MSI boards I've heard about have been having some issues with PCI-E slots

    Update

I already have the IP of the new server that I'm getting moved to and have updated my DNS recording according to the changes. DNS is updated and ready to go here :) I'd like to see how this new server will take things.

    Should we target GeoCities users?

It would be cool to see a bunch of GeoSites users move to x10Hosting. What makes me wonder though is, how many more servers would Corey need to buy in order to take the load though?

(WinXP Home SP3) Cannot access drive even after remapping letter

You didn't provide this info, but what does the Computer Management utility state as the file system for this particular partition, or is it RAW as you've stated before? This is strange as remapping/changing a drive letter caused this. Only time I've ever seen a file system go from whatever to...

(WinXP Home SP3) Cannot access drive even after remapping letter

Have you tried remapping the drive again to see if this will work? I have seem times in which on some PCs I'll have to manually remap a USB drive after plugging it in, because in My Computer it shows up as RAW and is inaccessible. So, open up the Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools...

Whoa, the forum have Quick reply function, did you see that?

I barely use the Post Reply button here. Quick reply is great for what it is :D

(WinXP Home SP3) Cannot access drive even after remapping letter

Were you able to access the second partition of the drive before you remapped it? Typically the only reason you'd see a file system show up as RAW would be if it had gone corrupt or if the partition was zero'ed out by a program.
