Would you play a text based game?

Not sure, really. It all depends on mainly what the game is about.

    Canada: Internet Piracy Capital?

The last I checked (probably a year ago), Canada was North America's piracy central since they apparently didn't have any law stating it was illegal to download such things but was illegal to upload them. I'm not sure if that was how it went or not, and I'm also not sure if this has changed or...

    Concerns about wireless

MAC filtering is just useless unless you keep your access key in a wide open place. It doesn't take very long to spoof a MAC address (under a minute to spoof it) once someone obtains access to the security, but it is a nice extra layer of defense. There are some things that can affect the...

Would you give up cPanel for better uptime?

To me it doesn't matter. There has been quite a bit of downtime on Absolut lately (which is unusual for it), and I don't mind having to learn another web based management panel. If cPanel is in fact the problem, then by all means get a rid of it. I'm sure it'll help save some money for you guys...

    who plays far cry 2?

Cannot play it here since I blocked SecuROM from even running/installing on my gaming computer (this goes with anything else DRM related). Once SecuROM is gone I'll buy it on Steam. Far Cry 2 is a great game though as I've played it before on my PC in a sandbox (but I can't run it like this...

    Purchasing an NVIDIA Telsa Super-Computer

The computer would run Crysis just like my box, with every setting maxed and at 50+ FPS. How'd I guess that this was going to show up? lol!

    Purchasing an NVIDIA Telsa Super-Computer

Your system is pretty much already more powerful than mine. I'm running a Single Intel i7 Extreme, 3x GTX280s as well as 4GB of 1800Mhz RAM (going to be bumping this up to 16GB during the summer, as planned anyways). I've also got 4TB of hard drives which I placed into RAID 0, giving me 2TB of...

    Purchasing an NVIDIA Telsa Super-Computer

Just as an FYI: The Tesla C1060 does not have any video output ports on the back of it. Hope you were aware of that. Here's it's webpage. http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_tesla_c1060_us.html

    Ubuntu 9.04 is here

What wireless card do you have? I know for a fact that Netgear wireless cards are a PITA to get to work in Linux at times, and they don't even work out of the box which means I have to mess around in the Console for a little while and download some drivers.

    Purchasing an NVIDIA Telsa Super-Computer

Someone's trying to beat me in power, eh? Looks like I have some upgrading to do this summer ;) But congrats on the purchase! Run some Folding@Home/SETI/Rosetta on that (the SMP clients as well as the GPU clients, console versions, pushing the system to the max) and let us know how many Points...

Google Chrome 2 30% More Faster

Not everyone on the planet gets unlimited broadband usage (and these ISPs who offer caps and limited internet usage should and must die), unfortunately. Also, I wouldn't doubt that Google Chrome 2 would be using more bandwidth if it is in fact pipelining, but I'm also pretty sure that Google...

    View on Refurbished Laptops

I have a very, very old Refurbished Dell Inspiron 3800GT which I take with me on vacation. It's about 10-11 years old and it still runs like a charm. Sure, a RAM slot went on it, but it's held up through quite a bit. Not sure if you'll have as much luck with refurbed units as I do though.

Is there an open source cPanel equivilent?

You could look into these options for Debian Linux. I'll see if there's anything else native to Ubuntu though. http://wiki.debian.org/HostingControlPanels You could also look into the EHCP Project! http://www.ehcp.net/
