    awesome - thanks :)

    What would you improve?

http://x10hosting.com/login ^ Making that useful in terms of what's going on with the server - at least a red light if it's down/unavailable, which would keep things in one place, I think.

    Server rollbacks?

Rollback thread in Announcement addresses that :P
  4. W

    important question, for me anyway

Did you make it within the past 6 days? I found that all of my files and edits from the 24th had disappeared, so I'm assuming that there was a rollback, which may have also erased new accounts. There's currently nothing in announcements either, so everything's pretty up in the air, heh.

    Why was files were undo?

Yeah, I had a rollback from the 24... -.- at least I backuped some files, but it's still a pain in the ass

after b from travelling my site become ERROR...ADMIN HELP!!

If you want admin help, then you're looking for official help, not unofficial help. So, open a support ticket, just like htwillis has already posted twice.

my site showing welcome page after one 8 months

index.html was re-added after the servers came back up. After you notice that, you should just delete it, not add more code -.-. Using .htaccess that I posted earlier, it'll be there just in case another index.html pops up again. Easy.

my site showing welcome page after one 8 months

To make things easier if it happens again, do this: Login to cPanel -> File Manager (make sure that 'Show Hidden Files (dotfiles).' is checked.) -> Edit .htaccess in public_html -> Add 'Redirect /index.html insert your homepage link here' (without single quotes) to the last line You should...

Having a lot of issues PLEASE HELP!!

Site loading might be due to x10 doing some work or unreliable host server -.-; I can't load my site at all, but I still have cPanel and FTP, heh.

    Server - Cossacks

Status sticky shows everything on Cossacks, except for MySQL, as back up.

    server down

http://x10hosting.com/login You can try that and see. If it says Unsuspended, you should be fine. It wasn't updating with the real server status, but I'd assume that Un/Suspended status would be right.

    Absolut Ad-Free down?

I didn't see anything under news about actual downtime, figured I'd make a quick mention and report if it continues (been around 15 minutes now, I think). It does usually slow down around this time/a bit later but not enough to time out, usually. http://x10hosting.com/account isn't showing...

hidden .htaccess file through file manager

ah, that's what I was looking for - not sure why I didn't look there. Thanks a lot!

hidden .htaccess file through file manager

inaccessible .htaccess file through file manager I was editing it without any problems earlier, but after I mapped my site to a network drive (now disconnected and a bit buggy) on Vista, I could no longer view the .htaccess file (could view it on the network drive, pain to edit, though). I've...

    Hotlinking image exception?

Hotlinking protection is enabled and working fine. :) I was thinking of hosting an image via x10 as part of a "link to us" type of thing. Would that be allowed? If it is, is it possible to add an exception for that specific file using RewriteCond, or is that just for allowing directories...

    Can money buy true happiness?

I'd have to agree with the people who say that it depends on the individual. There's little doubt that too little money can make people unhappy, but being able to buy everything and anything that you want would almost seem depressing. I more or less agree that posessions are superficial...

    Hi

It's a great service that you guys provide :). It'll be nice to have a stable, public site for me to poke at/test things on; I can't really show everyone stuff from uni/work sites if I want privacy.

    Which PC Brand?

I think that it depends on what I want it for, and if I'm willing to pay for it :P. e.g. Dell XPS is something that I'd love to use just to mess around with the lights, but it's really not needed. Anyway, Dell desktops seem to be pretty stable. An HP desktop that my family had several years...
