Actualmente sólo existe una versión de PHP en x10Hosting, como todos los usuarios ahora tienen los mismos permisos y privelages. Todas las cuentas son de la versión de PHP 2, independientemente de cualquier otra cosa, dice.

When I first signed up at x10, I was guilty of not posting...but then I think I saw some of the stuff going on in the forums and decided that maybe I should try and help some users in the hosting support area, and from then I just started coming on here more regularly.

You can't install because MySQL is currently offline...and so your software cannot create its database tables. As was said, check the service alerts forum for updates. I just wanted to add about why you cannot actually install.

Mainly cache plugins generally cause this...I believe "super cache" is a menace. Disable any additional caching extenisons and see if it happens again.

This may be because of some server issues today, I read in another thread, so please just wait a bit longer-until some of the more pressing issues are sorted (I.E-sorting out the global failure of MySQL) :) Thanks. I'm sure it will be sorted soon....just wait it out. Sorry, diabolo beat me to...

Are you using an extension called "super cache" or some other caching extension, as this is a common cause of this.

Does your cpanel say your bandwidth is full? Do you have any content that could be draining your bandwidth (e.g. videos)??

I still have problems with mine, so I assume Corey is installing the new MySQL server now-which is probably what's causing the problems. It should be fixed soon. Thanks :)

Are you talking about the php configuration? Php configuration is not editable by users on x10-you'll need a vps for that privelage. This is for efficency and security reasons.

This is probably because of a lot of abuse from users in Malaysia. You'll have to wait for admin to see this, and then they will decide wheather to unblock you or not.

Downtime is minimal on x10-it seems you've just been a bit unlucky. I'm on lotus, and it has had 99% uptime over the last 3 months, which is quite an achivement. If there's downtime, I know its stressful, but there will be other users with the same problem-admin are great here, and work out...

It's not that difficult to install Joomla manually. Just download it from joomla.org, unzip it, and upload all the files. Create the mysql database and user in cpanel, and then just run install.php from the joomla root directory.

I take it this software uses FTP. Remember to use: Host: yourdomain.x10hosting.com Username: your CPANEL username, not account panel. Password: your CPANEL password. Ensure you are not getting confused between the different passwords/usernames.
