    lost account

A lot of account data was lost because the company X10 uses to back up our data had a massive failure and lost all of it. You may have to start all over again. If your Cpanel login still works, that's pretty much all you've got. Otherwise, you can sign up for your same account again.

When do you get this error? When you go to the CPanel URL or after you type in your CPanel information?

free sub domain provider allow add zone records

I haven't found one. The problem with free domains is either they aren't free (CO.CC is not free after the first year) or they don't offer DNS hosting (CO.NR uses redirections) If you want a decent domain, you gotta pay, unfortunately :(

    My website can't reach.

I agree with gomarc. I can't find anything wrong with the server, it's your file that has the problem.

What is your favorite type of Music?

I'm really diggin The Dear Hunter right now. Awesome group. Harvey Danger is always good. Local H, Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, and The Receiving End of Sirens are on my list. I can't forget orchestral music either. I think I'm the definition of "other"

    Programming your own forum

I am writing my own software. It will take you a long time to do, and I would say the average programmer would not be able to write a better software than what is out there currently. A mysql query will take probably around 10 to 100 times less to execute than file access, so SQL is really the...

    Simple PHP question

It's definitely a good way to think :) There is a cookie saved to the user's computer, but it contains no session information, just the session ID. You can create your own session handler class if you need the utmost security, but it will require a lot of time and programming.

    Nasty viruses

I think it was mentioned before, but I think even if you were to fix your computer, Windows would never be the same again. There are people I know who re-install Windows every 6 months, no matter what

    Simple PHP question

Other than inside your own script, $_SESSION is only viewable by someone who has access to /tmp/ on the server, aka, just the admins. It should be quite safe.

working with a PHP login system script...

You're fine with what you have, you just need to make a little change: <input type="text" name="username" <!-- this is wrong, this is your own code --> <input type="text" name="user" <!-- this is right, this is what is in main.php -->

    Deleting all of your account/website

You'll need to submit a ticket. I believe your account will become available again, I'm not sure how quickly. An admin may be able to push it through faster. You can probably have them resolve whatever issue you're facing that will make you want to delete your account ;)

    Nasty viruses

Minesweeper is key to me using Windows :P I really think you're too far in to fix your computer. I'd say back up files and reinstall.

    socket_create

I believe all of the socket functions are currently disabled. They will probably be re-enabled when the new backend system is finished. I believe Corey mentioned this in one of the new news posts. However, even if they are re-enabled, the availability of them to you will be very very small. You...

working with a PHP login system script...

Ah, you can't change the name attribute of the inputs or you will break the link. Make sure you copy them exactly from the code given in main.php. I'm sorry if I copied it wrong, like I said, I was really tired :P

    WordPress Question?

I like subdomains better. Really, it shouldn't make too much of a difference either way, especially since setting up a subdomain will probably mean you have a subdirectory anyways.

    WordPress Question?

Thank you! When you create a sub-domain (ie, news.thesite.x10hosting.com) you also create a folder at the same time (ie, thesite.x10hosting.com/news) although the folder could be named anything, it doesn't matter.
