Just a quick note - flash is a client side script, which means it runs on the user's computer and not the server. So, X10 doesn't know you're using flash :)

From the file listing it's giving, there is no file named "index.php" so there's nothing for the site to load. Maybe this file got deleted by accident?

I suppose you should submit a ticket then. This is theoretically impossible. The server does not cache files like this. But, Corey is doing some work on the server, so maybe there is something going on of which I am unaware.

Yeah, that's all apache. CPanel just adds all the parked/addon/redirected domains to apache's configuration files then apache knows where to direct requests to that domain.

VPS is 'virtual private server' It means you have a part of a server that is completely yours, that you can install any software you want, and do (almost) anything you want with it. This is an old thread, you should consider asking any other questions about VPS here...

Hm. Did you change the content at flashwebtown.com and streamwebtown? I would think the problem is the file you are linked to is not changed, or you uploaded a new file and the file name changed, but you're still linked to the old file.

I thought the MySQL driver for java was a standalone class. I browsed the documentation and that's what I gathered from it. I haven't delved into java much, so it's very likely I'm wrong :P

I've read up on it, and no, server side java is not possible on X10, unless you use the paid VPS service.

This is mostly gibberish to me, but MySQL has a java class to do this for you: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/5.1.html

If you export the database and import it you can. The exported file is not the same as the storage file. It is a list of instructions on how to re-create the storage file.

It seems that it is a combination of both the number of sites and the number of people accessing the sites. If there were less sites, CPanel could rebuild Apache in a much shorter time. If there were less people accessing the sites, Apache could shut down much quicker and stop ignoring new...

Not in this application, no you cannot change physical database location. If you need physical files you have control of, you can use php and XML. It's not nearly as fast or space efficient as SQL, so if you can make fit your application within the bounds of the restrictions from MySQL, it...

If caching is the problem, you can add this meta tag: <META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">

I can't think of a better way to do it. Maybe CPanel file manager will be better because CPanel seems to go down less than FTP, but there's not really a way to improve download speeds.

You probably also need to tell it to scan your site again. It may have failed the first time if you didn't have the file with the tag set yet. It then takes a few hours to scan it.

I actually just did this two days ago, and it worked for me. Did you put the meta tag inside the head tag?
