    sql query

Why don't you install mysql on your test server? XAMPP comes with Apache, MySQL, Perl, and a few other goodies in one easy to use package. It's what I use for my test server and I highly recommend it. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html You can export your X10 databases then import them...

    Simple htaccess RegEx

Yeah, you probably don't need the url start (^) in there. The only problem is if you don't and you have something like: /anotherdir/dirtwo/dirthree/... it will incorrectly match.

CPanel -> FTP accounts. You have one by default with the same information as your CPanel login. The user is user@domain

Why I see "Index of /"

ASP.NET has been temporarily disabled while the servers are being worked on. It should be resolved soon.

    Help, I'm a nooob!!! :(, :(.......

You can create an FTP user in CPanel -> FTP accounts. You have one by default, it has the same information as your CPanel. It's user@domain.x10hosting.com or if you changed your domain it's user@domain.com etc

Would you give up cPanel for better uptime?

I'll have to check that out. I thought it sounded pretty useless too. I have to agree that CPanel has a ridiculous amount of features. I'm never going to use half of them. But, there's a bizzaro Garrett out there using the half I don't use, so I don't really feel like anything in CPanel is not...

    Simple htaccess RegEx

Glad it works. I was worried...I'm a little rusty on my htaccess regex ;)

    Simple htaccess RegEx

I think this is right: RewriteRule ^/dirtwo/dirthree/.*$ page.htm [R,NC,L] Rewrite URLs matching '/dirtwo/dirthree/' with any number of characters following, to page.htm, redirect, case insensitive, don't process any more rules.

    help to connect remot database

Oops, I had it backward :P You just need to use their server instead: <?php mysql_connect("freesql.org:3306", "user", "password"); ?> Now, you just need to replace "user" with your user name and "password" with your password.

Help!! where is the paid hosting support?

I think there's a link once you login to the client system, in case you forgot your domain :P mydomain.com/cpanel works as well. And also, server.x10hosting.com/cpanel (or :2082) works if you know your server. Basically, you've got some options when it comes to logging into cpanel ;)

Why I can not brower my page?

Try clearing your browser's cache. Because of a problem with the CPanel software, the free servers are experiencing higher than normal downtime and your site may be down throughout the day.

do you like my c++ game

The C languages are not an easy place to start, don't get too down on yourself. You'll probably be learning something new every time you program, even 5 years from now. This is a decent tutorial: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ I'd recommend downloading Visual C++ Express Edition 2008...

    can't upload site

Well, looks like the only thing left to do is submit a ticket. Corey may be recompiling things on your server, so that may be the problem. If you can publish your frontpage site to your own computer then copy the files to the server via CPanel or FTP, you should be alright until things get...

Did you try re-installing the extension using CPanel?

Use of index.aspx as an index page?

They use mod_mono. It supports ASP.NET up to 2.0 and some 3.5. I use XAMPP (tool with Apache, MySQL, and some other features) and mod_mono on my own computer and it works great. Edit: Here's their page: http://mono-project.com/Main_Page

Would you give up cPanel for better uptime?

This is actually pretty close to what Corey is trying to do, the problem is CPanel doesn't really allow this to happen.
