hi corey..sorry fot the question but the fact is that I don't know to much english hehe..so...I have to wait while u move or update in order to login ? 'cause I can't do it neither in the cpanel nor in the account...on the cpanel the password does not work and on account it shows a message with a error..and the page does not work..so sorry if is a stupid question..and I'll wait for ur answer...thanks..=)

erm hello.

i'm new and my friend recommended this to me. unfortunately i made my account 10 mins after maintainence started. but that's not important anyway. i would just like to say that many of the people here severely lack patience. a server update is a slow and painful process and he could really do without people spamming here about how their site isn't working. my recommendation: DON'T TRY BEFORE MAINTAINECE HAS FINISHED.

anyway to Corey, i think that its better if you put all updates on the first page to simplify matters. and good luck.

Ok I will Give an estimate, The current server has taken about four days, but that is because they hit ruts. The current server should be back up completely tomorrow sometime, right? The next one should take about three days or so, also will the last one will too. I am not on the x10 crew or anything i am just using logic.

I have 11 sites 3 blogs and 3 forums plus a day job, so I really havent got time o wade through 1000 posts to find out if there is a problem with the hopes one message might give an eta for back up again.
I will say this, admin could have done a mass email to everyone that the site would be gone for awhile. Powweb and a few others have done this. It sure helps. I had 20 people tell me I have no site and then try to logon to control panel only to be told account login incorrect.

Yea, in a perfect world, but.. I don't know about you but my email isn't working, and that was on of the first things I noticed was wrong. I don't think having the servers down for a week was exactly the plan either. I haven't been here long, but I've learned this pretty quickly - read the FORUMs! It's the most efficient way for the admins to update everyone at the same time. Also take a few minutes to really search the forums., if fifty users take an extra couple of minutes to research their problem instead of just posting, it'll save one or two admins a couple of hours of going through duplicate postings where they could actually be working on the problem at hand.

Just my 2cents.

No worries, mine on Absolut is still down, as well. According to Corey's original post, it is still being formatted and re-installed. I am sure he will update when it is complete.
