Here is what it says on the Promo: We even give you unmetered bandwidth and disk space allowing your site to grow without fear of ridiculously low limits like our other free hosting competitors! You won't find many companies doing that free of charge!
You dont find out the fine print til later :) But !! you will find this to be "THE" best FREE hosting site to be had anywhere. A real CPanel instead of a homemade junk panel, and when you do need an upgrade in space, it is almost instantly granted as long as youre not a weirdo or Spammer. Sometimes even us weirdo's can get an upgrade ;)
Stick around, you will like it.

Hi nevillen,

Thanks for the request. I've now upgraded you to Unmetered. Please note that the general 1GB limit on photo and video galleries still applies. :)

Thank you,

Hi nevillen,

Thanks for the request. I've now upgraded you to Unmetered. Please note that the general 1GB limit on photo and video galleries still applies. :)

Thank you,
What exactly does the 1GB limit apply to? I cannot find any reference to this in the Terms and Conditions.

Hi nevillen,

The 1GB limit applies for the total size of all the photos and videos on your site. This is listed under Section 1 Server Usage of our Terms of Service, here: ;)
Personal Image and Video Galleries: Personal galleries are limited to 1 GB of disk space for images and videos.

Thank you,

Anna

Note that it limits the space if you have a gallery type page, where the images is the main part of the content. On a blog for instance where the images would be put there to enhance the written text (and the text is the mainpart of the content) the limit does not apply as strict.

In this case, as my website consists of galleries of holiday photos, then I conclude that your 'unlimited' service is not suitable for me.Just out of curiosity, WHY is the photo/video limit applied - a website is a website surely.

A website is not a website. It's not fair to have someone store gigabytes of data on a server. We are not a file hosting service, and nor should we be treated as one. There are dedicated services out there to host files, photos, etc--we are here to host websites. There is a difference between "unlimited" and "unmetered"
