I've just installed iTrader for the forums.

This is a feedback system to be used when trading things for credits\money\anything.

Every time you make a trade you leave feedback for the person you traded with. This will help community members to identify how safe it is to make a transaction with someone. If they have a high iTrader # that means they've completed many transactions successfully.

Please start using this each time you make a trade on the forums. You MUST enter the thread the trade was in :)

AWESOME! I will be one of the first to use this for i am an ebay pro!

shouldn't it be displayed on the top right for everyone, starting from ZERO?
Edit:
I also recommend there should be a system where you can exchange x10 credits with Paypal and vice versa.

any rules on using this?

can we sell physical items?

as long as we keep a good reputation and overall positive feedbacks?

announcement!: x10Hosting just transformed into eBay! Now all we need is an AUCTION

it needs to be stuck right below credits...

the button for iTrader....

the button for iTrader....

it will most likely be integrated like this:

Code:
iTrader: ([URL="http://forums.x10hosting.com/itrader.php?u=52202"][B]0[/B][/URL])

where the zero in this example is your iTrader number, and it links to your account iTrader

You are not allowed to sell physical items on x10, this is not a trading company. We are a hosting company. You can sell things like themes for cms's or blogs or forums, Scripts, installation services, images etc... So if someone wants you to make an image for their website, then yes... you can ask for some credits if you wish. But you can't trade a car for x10 credits.

Interesting new add-on. I look forward to seeing how this one develops - it has a lot of potential to greatly enhance our services, but also has risks.

I guess that if in doubt, just promote your website & its services on x10, & do all your trading on your own site. That way, the liability for trades falls more with you than x10.

I can see that x10 will have to be very careful here, because the more types of trading they allow, the more their administrative headache will grow. Just look at eBay & see how long their rules, terms & conditions have grown, & how complex their ever-evolving infrastructure has become. Not only will there be endless trading disputes to resolve & scammers to do battle with, but it would be pretty tricky for x10 to completely protect themselves from all the legal issues & financial liabilities that they might be exposed to.

Still no integration of the facility into the forums - no links, ratings displayed, faqs, stickies with info etc.

Any idea of a likely arrival date? (I'm guessing quite a while, since you must be pretty busy with all the other changes at the moment ;) )
