question about x10's servers

Why do all the servers have Russian/Eastern European sounding names? (e.g. Cossacks, Stoli, etc.)

They're all named after something hard & wet, & the letters re-arranged are "kovad" :biggrin:

I'm in the UK & I've never heard of most of them.

And by the way Artic is Italian and Chopin is Polish vodka.

Why do they have such names?

Did you ever look up the theory about naming your children after vodka's or beer? Did you know that they can in fact, according to statistics, be more active/more popular in school?

Well it's my theory hehe.

So I am guessing that is why it was done for the servers.

The real reasoning behind the server naming conventions is so that the staff knows what type of vodka to take shots of when the server in question crashes. A few years ago Stoli basically made everyone who worked at X10 alcoholics.
