Still cannot upload, delete or create on my hosting.

My website http://emjmee.x10.mx is still have write and delete issues (fatal errors according to cPanel) and is unable to create folders using the included File Managers. I'm trying to delete addons for wordpress and cannot . If this is not rectified soon I will make my final backup and will look for alternative hosting. It's that simple.

I will not be upgrading to Premium now either due to your lacking support for those being provided with the adfree-infinity service. What says you're not just as ignorant to those on the Premium service.. You have not sold your service to me.

I'm slightly confused by this comment, considering you waited only 5 minutes for a response. Our premium service is staffed by 24/7 support, whereas on free hosting the support system is run by community members and volunteers, such as myself. We aren't available 24/7 - we are helping the free hosting side of things in our free time. We have lives too. I would also like to briefly mention that free hosting is definitely not a "free trial" of premium hosting, or what it is like on premium hosting.

It took 5 minutes to write the thing due to using my mobile (which has a small display) whilst I have big thumbs as I don't use PCs or laptops as I'm a mobile and tablet productive user. I'm saying that how you deal with everyone on the Free hosting side will most likely impact how people percieve your paid hosting support. It has with me anyway. I made you aware on this forum of the above problem 24 hours after the migrations completed... It was completely dismissed... And I saw no point in bumping the thread just to be ignored again by community staff.
Hence why I'm deciding whether to ditch this service.

And in reply to your question... Since the migration I have NOT been able to change ANY files or folders.

So technically it also wasn't 5 minutes to respond. Take 24 hours after the migrations had finish and add a day for every 24 hours from that point. To be honest I've shown great restraint in this matter. Up to the point I wrote the post you quoted.

It's okay now. Your stupid cPanel kept pushing me to the vox server after logging in using the link on your home page. So in the address bar it kept showing http://vox.x10hosting.com:2083/ so I swapped vox for xo2 and it logged me in to a working cPanel and a working file manager so I could delete my files (all of them) I'm done with this service but cannot delete my account as the CPanel account settings do NOT work on vox or xo2

I'll reitterate. Delete my hosting account, username: emjmeex1 website URL:: http://emjmee.x10.mx. The reasons I want it deleted are as folliows: 1. Inability to delete hosting myself due to receiving a blank page when clicking on "Account Settings" in the cPanel. 2. I have no files on your hosting yet it says that I'm using 900+mb of data when all there is is a htaccess file only. 3.Even though a member of community staff replied my issue was not resolved thanks for nothing Dead-i. 4. I found a host who will reply and fix queries within 48 hours on free accounts. (Unlike you who makes me wait 8 days to get noticed and have my issue not fixed) so delete the hosting account since I am unable to.

While I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, you are not the only one that was affected by this, and you're being quite selfish by suggesting that we should fix all of your problems immediately, when other people have been waiting just as long, if not longer, for their sites to be restored.

Additionally, you were using 900MB of disk space, without your files.

You have almost 1G of backups, which is strictly against our terms of service, and is classified as file hosting.

While we're sorry to see you go if that's what you choose to do, we're not going to stop you.

Oh, and our "Stupid cPanel" is an expensive piece of software that we purchase and provide for our users--not something we create. So maybe instead of bashing us for something we can't control, you could spend the time in a more productive manner... like knitting.

You'll find I never backed up to your server once... I transfer my data straight to my tablet then to a service like dropbox after zipping the content... So once again your expensive and very broken cPanel isn't doing as I told it to as I had a website only and softaculous hadn't notified me of backups to my sites content which I never gave permission to do in the first placea b

Not only that this means that your expensive and broken software is also responsible for my "alledged" breach of TofS in the first place as I never back up on pathetic storage restrictions of 512mb. And I wouldn't mind I never suggested you should fix my problems. I had enough when other services I have used and my brother uses on free hosting fix issues in 48 hours not over a week. Btw, its your stupid cpanel when you purchased it. Remove my account. I'm totally done with this very unreliable and buggy service that forces users in to breach of Terms of Service... Like I said I had a site, I removed it, 900+mb used which you claim are softaculous backups and if I knew that this function existed I would have sorted it myself but I didn't therefore your software forced the breach of Terms of Service.

I had enough when other services I have used and my brother uses on free hosting fix issues in 48 hours not over a week. Btw, its your stupid cpanel when you purchased it.
I would just like to add that we do not take "over a week" to fix issues. I think that, considering we're volunteers for free hosting, we have an exceptional response time on free hosting. In this case, however, volunteers have been restoring approximately one hundred accounts, one-by-one, starting from the oldest first. This was also not helped by the fact that our data safes were recently being migrated. I'm honestly really amazed at the volunteer staff who have been doing this extremely tedious process; they really have been doing a great job. :)

If I was so in the wrong why wasn't my account suspended? Why was the option to backup in the FREE Softaculous panel in the first place (when other webhost providers I have used in the past never had the option)? Why was I talked down to as if I did something wrong when actually the mistake with the Softaculous Backup on Free hosting is your own? I have never seen such a blatant way to make users breach the terms of service without their knowledge as in backups being made using Cron Jobs (its fine as the Cron Job was deleted and so were the site backups). I have never seen a backup option ever in any free hosting except your own.

Exactly; that's why I just removed it. As a result of the recent migrations, we are still working on re-configuring several services. That option in Softaculous was a mistake.

Though, you are right in saying that this should have never been an option in the first place. I've now removed this option from all free hosting servers for the future.

Just because there's an option for it doesn't give you the right to breach the terms of service. We have no problem with you making backups, but your web space isn't for hosting backups...
