It amazes me how you can squeeze a whole, big .iso file through that tiny little download dot that you inserted into your last 2 messages.

What else can you squeeze through?

Is it possible to download a cheesecake through one of those magic dots?

lol, Not for you. I could probably rig something like that to work via a terminal browser on my linux machine, but winDos would never know how to handle a cheesecake file. *grins*

Challenge :

Take a look at this post ; .

.....and then figure out how the spammers have managed to post a completely white link.

The best we have managed in this thread so far is a link where the text is white, but unfortunately it still has a visible underline. Or where we have made the link as small as possible, as I did in this post.

Any ideas? We know it is possible now. But how?!!

Ok, I accept that challenge. I'll get back to you in tad. Mean while, do you know that I've set firefox to automatically show all white/lemon chiffon text? :D
Edit:
Like this?

Adam had our prototype to copy from though. That always makes it easier!

And I got it first.

(Isn't it time to start posting normally again now? And it occurred to me that hidden text might be against forum rules in some way)

I just noticed that I could've cheated and looked at the source code:

<a onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview ('/outgoing/http_www_test_com');" href="http://www.test.com" target="_blank"><font color="White"><u>test-link</u></font></a>

But either way, I did it independently - I had a feeling that underlining and making the underline white would have a greater Z value than the original CSS underline because the CSS underline is an external influence while the custom underline is local.

Yes, you were quick! I expect you know a lot more about web programming than me.

I tried various things first, & then tried to check on the html coding which removes underlines from links. I knew forums posts didn't use html, but I thought there might be an equivalent way!

Incidentally, did you notice my post in the Ban thread a couple of days ago, where I hid a message offering credits? That took me a few additional techniques to hide the evidence! :)

Nope, I quickly skimmed through the posts from the days I wasn't here for, but I didn't really pay that much attention to it. I may have came across it but wasn't focused enough to notice. Do you have a link to the post handy?
