Post in that thread and wait if vigge accepts it and then pay 15 credits for a week (after the time of "I wear dresses' is over)

Well i'm simply trying to figure out how use my .co.cc domain name without a parked domain cuz it always give me the CPanel /WHM / Apache success page (even with my domain name registered in account panel) , not really cool... If you have suggestions PM me , do not post back on this thread...
It's now time to go listen to south park :p so goodbye
=-=Edit=-=
Wow!!! 193 pages i can't believe it it must take like 5Gbs in the database that must take like 200Gbs+ in the server... (finally appears like it is more than one line :p )

193 Pages doesn't take very much SQL space. I'm betting no more than a megabyte or two tops.

Agreed. Text & smiley character codes etc use very little data (each character is stored as a single byte of data, & is represented by the ASCII code).

I remember when 1.4MB floppy disks came out, & everyone was amazed because they could effectively store all the text contained within a long reference book!

a forum with 1458 posts, 351 threads and 114 users takes around 7mb
JAGF right? (it looks the same :biggrin:)

A phpbb forum with 1455 posts, 228 threads and 57 users takes 2.77 MB (but without attachments).
I am not talking about mine site. But Sohail's site called SohailTech

:rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2:

Right, that's it, I'm fuming now!
:rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2::rant2::mad::gtfo2:

We posted here a week or so ago about Adblock, & I mentioned that I was happy to let x10's adverts appear on my screen if it helped fund the X10 website.

Well not any more. I'm blocking the adverts now on x10. I've had it with them.

Not only are they a right pain if you happen to have the misfortune of clicking one (the endless pop-ups try to trick you into installing an .exe file before you can continue), but now many of the ads are constantly beeping in the background with annoying noises like the Windows error message.

Well, you've pushed your luck too far.

GOODBYE ADVERTS. GOOD RIDDANCE !

And yes, I hope those in x10 responsible read this & realise that whilst subtle & pleasant adverts will be tolerated, these will not. Their effect is counter-productive & will lose you revenue in the long-run.

\end of rant.

yep, I've always used adblock, so I've never even noticed that there are ads on x10.

Is this thread dead? :crying::angel::crying: It's certainly seen better, more active days. :sleep:

Very wise. Do you still see things like my videoandaudio.co.uk graphic logo in my sig, or is this blocked as well because it is linked to my site?

Yes, good taste! :)

Adblock only blocks stuff that meets a filter description. So, some common ones that it blocks are: *ad* and *af* and stuff like that that people often use in the urls of their ads...
So, if the url of yours just has a string of numbers, then it's not going to be viewed as advertisement unless someone ads that to the filter list...

I can add: forums.x10hosting.com/avatars* to the list and it will block it!
