Of course it is. Why do you think loads of people still play online with it then? There's over 300 servers available to play on anyways, so it's still good enough. Besides, it's an easy for older computers to run so even if you don't have a high spec one, if you have a computer that was built roughly around the time Windows XP came out or you have some high end Windows 2000 hardware, you should be able to run it. FileFront, Microsoft Games, etc all have a trial version of Halo that comes with unlimited use but with only one single player map and one multi-player map (one of the best maps, Blood Gulch!) for you to play on and see how the game runs.

Halo 2 is also very popular on the PC, and Halo 3 soon to come to the PC is very popular on the XBox.

I've only ever played Halo once at a friends house. I'm not really into gaming.
Though if Halo is as good as everyone says it is, maybe I'll buy Halo 3 for PC when it comes out...

Halo is only available on the XBOX 360 unfortunately... I would prefer GTA 4 on the PS3.

Halo is out for Windows 2000/XP/Vista, and Halo 2 is out for Windows Vista. I have both games for the PC. Halo 3 is still in the works from what I heard for the PC, but that'll probably come in Windows 7.
