:) Will the cloudflare button in Cpanel ever be made to work ?? im kinda on the fence whether it helps or not, seems my site runs pretty well without it, but maybe with cloudflare enabled, my site would be so fast i couldnt keep up.

What are your thoughts ?? (Staff answers please)

Hi aquariu5,

Sorry about this. I've now fixed this on all the free hosting servers, and CloudFlare should be working again :)

Thank you,

Thanks for the noble effort Dead-i but its not fixed. here is what i get, which is wrong, because cloud flare has never worked since the big change, and all i could ever get since then is a quick redirect back to the CPanel.
https://xo1.x10hosting.com:2083/cpsess5136680333/frontend/x10x3/cloudflare/index.html
If you click that little missing image like youre supposed to you will see the error it throws.
Still messed up, but i guess i dont care, im not really sure if its worth the effort anyway.
Thanks again for your efforts here :)

Well this is interesting :) i just got this from Cloud Flare which would indicate to me at least, that im signed up, but>>> as you can see my site is not running Cloud Flare, according to X10 Cpanel. So which is it, The Cihicken or the Egg ??

Here is what Cloud Flare has to say about the issue.
Jeremy Meeks (CloudFlare)

Hello,

Your CloudFlare account status is currently active, however your site is not currently going through us. It looks like you are signed up with us through one of our hosting partners, x10Hosting, who is hosting your DNS. You will need to contact x10hosting to help you activate CloudFlare on your domain, however if you run into any issues please let us know.
Jeremy

Ok so now what ??

There is no option to do that. I login to cloudflare, the first thing you have to do is set up and account, which they say is already done, but its not, the console requires that you add a url before proceeding, then when i try to do that it says an account is already established via X10, which its not.
and i cant disable anything in the CPanel.
It seems that cloudflare nor X10 knows how to simply fix this., youre welcome to try yourself.
the login info at cloudflare is (sent PM)

Ive talked with a couple more X10 customers that are having the same issue.
What happens is somehow the accounts are being automatically registered with cloud flare then, when you try to activate it via the X10 CPanel, it throws an error that says you are already registered with cloud flare and wont let you proceed in any direction.
It would be nice if this worked the way it should, but i understand you only get what you pay for, so disregard any further, it can just stay broke i guess.
Thanks

Hello,

I'm sorry to read that you have been experiencing trouble with CloudFlare. It looks like there has been a bit of a mix-up somewhere, and I can assure you that our technical engineers are working in the background to try to implement a workable solution for this. Please do bear with us.

UPDATE: I received this from Cloud Flare today, Now What ??
How Do I Accomplish What Is Suggested Below ????

Jeremy Meeks (CloudFlare)

Hello,

CloudFlare should now be enabled on 'www.aquariumforum.x10.mx'; subdomain. You should be good to go, however there is a redirect set on your 'www.'; domain to point you back to the root:

HTTP/1.1 303 See Other
* Server cloudflare-nginx is not blacklisted
< Server: cloudflare-nginx
...
< Location: http://aquariumforum.x10.mx/activity.php?s=314a2613188711b54328594215e549af

You will need to remove this redirect, and have your site resolve at your 'www.'; subdomain.

I hope that helps, but please let me know if have any questions or would like any assistance!

im just basing my concern on what Cloud Flare has told me.

URL [ aquariumforum.x10.mx ]
shows a DNS-A record of [ 198.91.81.2 ]
at [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/aquariumforum.x10.mx ]

and DNS-NS records of [ ns1.x10hosting.com ] and [ ns2.x10hosting.com ]
at [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/aquariumforum.x10.mx ]

IMO that looks good for a x10hosting's free-hosting account - BUT without "CloudFlare"
###

URL [ www.aquariumforum.x10.mx ]
shows a DNS-A record of [ 108.162.196.104 ] AND [ 108.162.197.104 ]
at [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/www.aquariumforum.x10.mx ]
both of those IPs are CloudFlare's
Code:
NetRange: 108.162.192.0 - 108.162.255.255
CIDR: 108.162.192.0/18
OriginAS: AS13335
NetName: CLOUDFLARENET
NetHandle: NET-108-162-192-0-1
Parent: NET-108-0-0-0-0
NetType: Direct Assignment
Comment: http://www.cloudflare.com
RegDate: 2011-10-28

Ref: http://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-108-162-192-0-1

and there are NO DNS-NS records
at [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/www.aquariumforum.x10.mx ]

IMO that looks like a error in your x10hosting's DNS
###

at URL [ www.aquariumforum.x10.mx ] I just received this error...
Code:
Error 1001 Ray ID: 145ca674042e03e2
DNS resolution error
What happened?
You've requested a page on a website (www.aquariumforum.x10.mx) that is on the CloudFlare network. CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (www.aquariumforum.x10.mx).
There are two potential causes of this:
Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network.
Less likely: something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails.

BTW you will NOT see any sig's on posts in this forum unless you are logged-in -- my sig has a disclaimer

I'd like to suggest you register a short domain name at http://www.dot.tk/ and point the domain name at your site via CloudFlare. I have the same set up for http://sharky2k.tk/ .

I have also deleted your bump messages. They're unnecessary (and frankly a bit rude - it's Sunday...) I can appreciate this is frustrating but please do understand people do have lives outside of work. I'm confident that one way or another we will get this resolved.
