We had to make some adjustments to Boru for these changes today, we'll see how it goes to make sure all the issues are resolved. If so, the changes will be pushed live to the others tonight now.

Due to the amount of changes I've decided to put them all live on Boru for the day to see how it goes before pushing them to the other servers. If there are no issues with Boru I will put the changes live on the other ones later this evening.

Hi, If you're not familiar with system management I would suggest getting cPanel with your VPS, we could then migrate your account for you but support would stop there for it unless you get management also.

We have started testing PHP 5.3 support and plan to upgrade all servers by the end of the week. All major scripts already support 5.3 and if you're running the latest version this change should not be noticeable to you. I'll leave this thread open for questions.

We will be upgrading the other servers to cPanel 11.30 tonight (Starka is already there).

I will be continuing this maintenance tonight. I will most likely have to switch the MySQL server into read only a few times, this means your applications can still read all the data but any writes will be queued. Hoping I can wrap this up tonight.

I will be upgrading MySQL to 5.1 to prepare for a larger project we're working on and also one of the last preparations before moving to PHP 5.3. There will be some minor MySQL outages on Starka this evening for this upgrade. I will update once the upgrades are completed. -Corey
