I was a bit confused when I first started using cPanel, but now I know that it is done that way to avoid problems with people creating databases with the same name etc. cPanel prefixes your cPanel name to all your databases to avoid such problems.
There is an option. It's called 'Current cPanel username', if you enter your free hosting username there then the member of staff that deals with your order will do all the transferring for you.
I am confirming that lhyman is correct. We do not allow remote access to MySQL databases, if you need to access them you can use the tolls provided in cPanel or install your own MySQL admin tools on your account.
