Try using the standard SMTP port, which is 465 for gmail using SSL, if you don't use SSL you won't be able to connect either. Let me know how that goes.

Hello, I don't see all the wordpress files on your account? It seems there is only a few folders left over. Are the databases and everything gone? If so, you may just be able to delete those folders that are left.
