Hello? Anyone? Why can I send email from this address but not receive anything?

When I log onto CPannel X3, I can log into an email address bobsairc@bobsairchecks.x10host.com. What exactly is this email address? I can send from it but when I try to send to it, it does not work. The server responds "No such user here." What's going on?

Hmm interesting. Also, good news for Comcast email customers, the spam filter Comcast uses was marking my emails as spam, and apparently the way my account was set up it was discarding spam automatically. It's now unmarked as spam.

As for item #1, yes I was aware of that, but I thought the limit was 1 gb so why do I only have half of that? As for #2 I'll do that tomorrow.

Two questions, 1. I just switched my account to CPannel X3 from X10Hosting Basic temporarily and see that I only have 512 mb of total storage. Why is this? I thought I was supposed to have 1 gb of which I was supposed to be using half to get the cap lifted? 2. Emails come to my Gmail account...

That's good to hear, I've been trying to post another aircheck to my site all day. I just hope this gets fixed before about 9 Pacific time as that's about when I get ready for bed and I'm going out of town tomorrow.

As for formatting to avoid being caught, I don't know. There really aren't any other guidelines that I know of.

You should be fine sending emails as long as you don't exceed 100 per hour.

Can anyone using Comcast reach their site on Vox yet? A reply here said it would be fixed in 2-4 hours, and that reply was posted a little over 4 hours ago and I still can't reach my site.

Thanks all, I'm having the same issue. I think I'll call them on Monday anyway because I'm still having email issues. Does anyone else who was having this issue today have a Comcast.net email address? Can you receive emails from your free hosting account?

All you should have to do is set up an email account at your domain and then tell whatever software you're using to use that address.
