There would technically be no DNS to remove, just change the NS settings at your registrar, that is all that you need to be doing to change the DNS to somewhere else. Once the name servers are changed, and propagation has occurred properly, ours would not even be asked about your domain anymore.

Admin area is always unaffected from the theme you chose. A plugin could cause it however.

Can you please try again now? You may need to clear the session cookies again though, as the previous cookie from when it didn't work may still be stored with the browser and thus preventing proper login.
