I like the layout, but the colours are bit too bright. Especially the text, it doesn't really stand out from the background. It might be an idea to add a few pixels padding to the left side of your divs to create a small margin, it looks neater and is easier to read. It's a good first attempt...

I prefer PhotoImpact because having to manually create new layers in Photoshop is really annoying. Having said that, I don't like the newer versions of PI, it has become too much like Paint Shop Pro which I find really faffy. I'm still using the XL version of PI and once that is no longer...

I have both. I wear my glasses when I'm not planning to go out and for reading in bed, but contacts the rest of the time. They are a lot easier once you get used to putting them in - you don't have to worry about them steaming up on cold days which is definitely a plus.

It you want an HTML sitemap SitemapDoc creates one automatically - it's a lot easier than doing it manually if you have a lot of pages.

I'm guessing the Beta version of FF has support for customised scroll bars, but like you, I wonder how that will work if you are using anything but the default skin. I'm guessing it won't, but I'd be interested to hear from any Beta users who have customised their scroll bars.

I don't pass them on, and can't ever see a situation were I would donate money because of one. There are a lot of them though, and it amazes me how many people do forward them, even people I thought to be relatively sensible. I wonder if some of them do it deliberately, or if they see the word...

I prefer the design of the second one, but some text to explain what the site is about would be helpful to new visitors. If someone just lands on that page, it might be immediately obvious what the site is for.

I like Arial and Tahoma, but any sans-serif font will look good, and be easy to read.
