I recommend using the PHP mail() instead of SMTP as it is easier to set up. But if you want to use SMTP to send e-mails from PHPBB using your x10 e-mail account you should be able to find the settings in cPanel.

Did you put the folder 'blog' in the 'public_html' directory? If you didn't that would be why. All files that you want to be accessible from the Internet need to be in the 'public_html' folder.

How many accounts do you have on x10 in total? and can you please list the cPanel usernames for all your accounts.

Make sure you have put your cPanel username followed by an underscore before both the Database name, and the database username. Also make sure that you have assigned the user to the database and given it all privileges.

We have disabled users replying to other people's thread in the 'Free Hosting' Forum because it was making Staff's jobs harder. You should be able to reply to other user's thread in other sections of the Forums, just not 'Free hosting'.

Are you making sure that you always click 'File Manager' (V3), there is also the 'Legacy File Manager' (V2), if you are sometimes clicking the wrong link that would explain it.
