I think that the public_html directory is simply created by cpanel by default. FTP is only for you to upload and download files. Making it public would violate this and you would probably get suspended for filehosting.

Use name-servers instead of URL forwarding. In the co.cc control panel Simply select name-servers, enter ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com Then go into cpanel, click Parked Domains then add the co.cc domain and you are done.

The issue may be with a php page not returning anything for 30 seconds. Did you install any plugins in wordpress before this happened?

I believe i fixed the issue. If you cannot log into cpanel, You may need to wait 5-10 minutes before attempting to reset your password.

You need to register the domain through co.cc. Once you do, it will request DNS or Nameservers, enter ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

You need to go in with a ftp client or through cpanel, then file manager, and change the permissions to either 755 or 644.
