Leave the directory alone. Go to cPanel and use the "Subdomains" tool to remove the subdomain (it does not remove the directory, but I suggested you backup the directory just in case). Use cPanel "Subdomains" tool to add it back.

The theme is trying to do something that the server won't/can't do. Without knowing what it is trying, there is no way to know what may be causing the error. Who knows, maybe it is trying to do something illegal. The creator of the theme knows what it does. Nobody here does. Who do you think...

If the page name is index.html , the PHP is never executed. It has to be index.php

The other two databases are PostgrSQL, which is not enabled. Apparently no way to tell cPanel not to add them as "available". Stoli, unfortunately, is quite camera shy.
