It's not a cPanel limitation, it's an x10hosting limitation - cPanel supports it, and it's enabled for Paid users, however attempting to utilize it on free won't work because x10's firewall will block the connection unless it's coming from one of the free servers.

For the user to do what it sounds like he wants to (a game server) he'd need a VPS. Paid hosting forbids constantly-running scripts like game servers and a "multiuser game platform in php" with a socket opened on 9999 sure sounds like a server to me...

It cannot be modified by x10 because it is in the closed-source section of cPanel, and cPanel has pretty much told us it's not going to happen any time soon. It may get increased in the future, but not soon enough for x10.

Or just don't run a forum that distributes hacks for Combat Arms. That goes Zero Tolerance in a hurry.

Also each of x10hosting's free servers -does- have their own cPanel installed - that's how we didn't know about the maximum users connected problem until now. We've never hit it before.

Phishing is against X10Hosting's TOS, Acceptable Use Policy, and against several US laws. A violation this severe is zero-tolerance permanent suspension - we do not allow users to host phishing pages. Ever. No backups will be given, and your site is permanently lost.

I know the problem, but honestly I've never had to fix permissions so I'm not actually sure what the process is to fix it. It's a permissions issue in your files though, they're set to 777 and they should be set to 755 or 644 (usually 755). That'll fix the issue and it should start serving...
