None of my PHP pages will load?

None of the above sites load fast for me (actually, it takes about 1 minute to load), similarly for my site loading times are very long, so I don't think the problem is over. (It seems more of a bandwidth problem to me actually -- the headers and so on are sent quickly, but the process of...

    Unable to access cPanel site

Read this service alert for more details. It should be over soon enough by the sound of things.

None of my PHP pages will load?

My pages are loading, but very slowly. (Maybe IE is timing out too early which would cause your not seeing anything?) Anyway, your not alone. (CPanel is loading almost fine though... that might be because it's a higher priority and a separate process on the server -- cpanel at least is reporting...

    Gmail Desktop Application

I still have a problem with this. Climate Change is the same as Global Warming, since the current changes to the climate are --- warming of the climate. This "flawed" science isn't only done by the IPCC, and Al Gore isn't a scientist: if you look through some of the most reputed scientific...

    Chrome OS download

The thing is Google is working to reimplement all software as web services, so that you don't need a full OS, i.e. turn your pc into a light client, with the browser as your work environment. Look at Google Docs for example. The reason Google implemented their own Javascript engine in...

    What is X10Hosting's mail server?

BTW, you can't modify the mail accounts directly (as far as I know, the only way to modify accounts is through cpanel):so a roundcube plugin wouldn't help much. I've never tested this, but I doubt direct control is allowed. And also, Roundcube isn't installed by default: horde and squirrelmail are.

    Backup my website ?

BTW, you can set up an automatic backup using cron + shell scripting. I'm not sure whether you can do SQL backup through a shell script, but you can use something like php MyBackup, which you can have cron calling whenever you want a backup.

    Python Framework

From what I can gather django is written all in python, so if you upload it, and somehow tell python where django is located, it should work. I don't have much python experience so I can't say much more -- you might want to look at the documentation telling you how to modify the paths here. That...

    Database information

database server name: localhost Database names have format username_dbname where username is your cpanel username, dbname the name you gave it in cpanel. Note: you also need to create a user and give it permissions to use the database. Note2: external MySQL access isn't enabled on free hosting.

    the Internet in 2012

The Government can do pretty much anything, as you said. Most of the Root nameservers are controlled by the US, so the US Govt could do pretty much anything to one of the main services behind the Web. I think you underestimate what Governments can do. Who thought Nazi Germany would happen (just...

Account incorrectly suspended - Reason "No site"

Does the domain you list as your main domain in your account panel have any content? If you are using an external domain as an addon domain, make sure your x10 subdomain redirects to the external domain. If you din't set up as such, then whoever was reviewing your site will have gone onto your...

    IP address issues? STARKA

You don't have to use x10 namservers for DNS. You can use external nameservers as long as they correctly point to your server. I noticed a while back that starka had multiple IP's. My domain (ahunt.org) currently points to the .26 IP, starka.x10hosting.com points to 27. It seems that apache...

    Google analytics clone script pernitted?

It isn't breaking the rules: scripts are allowed: all it say in the TOS: I.e. they don't want you t0 have automatically running scripts to do things like downloading files etc, but if it is a website script, it is fine. Programs such as Joomla, Drupal etc. are also commonly referred to as...

    cant get native resolution

Hit your computer with a sledgehammer? Shout at M$? Cry? The other trick is to try deinstalling and reinstalling drivers to see if that helps. That usually worked back when I used to use Windows. Also try using the same driver you used under Vista. As and aside: Supposedly GNU/Linux systems...

    the Internet in 2012

I'll just vote for the Monster Raving Loony party. They would probably have some lunatic but sensible policy about this. BTW, that copyright treatise is probably ACTA, which is worrying because it will allow DMCA like clauses to have power outside the US, as well as generally threatening...

    Change default font?

I used that theme on Debian Etch, where it was in gnome-theme-extras , ("back in the days..."), it's called Gorilla, more info here. (Ok, I'm not called sharky, but I'm kinda answering the question ;).) Back on topic: I still vote for a font change, since even though we can change it, most...

    Change default font?

Doesn't make us wrong, just ignorant. I was using GreaseMonkey to change fonts... (Do all browser's support such settings?) Ps. I like that Gnome theme.

    the Internet in 2012

This is why we need to campaign for net neutrality... Anyway, I doubt this could happen in the near future, and definitely not worldwide (I wouldn't be surprised if this happens in the US or UK) -- but on a longer timescale that's what it seems could happen. And this is definitely what certain...

    ssh access

BTW, you could always mount ftp through FUSE (i.e. as a local directory) -- assuming your on one of the *nix systems with FUSE available, meaning you can use your normal shell tools when making a site, with the only difference being everything is running locally.
