That would be the hosting account that has been removed, the actual client account, and forum account remains, which is why you can actually login to that account at all. You should still be able to access account settings at the top right corner, which is where you'd change the email address...

Please log in into the portal and request the deletion from there, under account settings there's a link to delete the account. You would of course need to do that for each account.

For free hosting, those details are not required when signing up so we wouldn't have them. That information is only required for billing purposes if you have premium or vps hosting, and yes they would in that case be kept safe and only be viewable by the support staff that needs the access.
