I don't think you can change the user name, but you can change the domain through account management panel, the domain don't have to be related to the nick you are using.
welcome to x10 hosting :)
for index.php to become your index file you need to remove the default index.html file
the way things work .html has priority over .php if both exists
Yes, you should open a support ticket.
Please provide your cPanel name and remember to put in that cossacks was your server prior to the move as well, to help us track down what has happened
You always link files in html with a path relative to where the files is called from
if you in your public_html have an index.file that needs to include a css file named mystyle.css
you'd call it using this the name only if the css file also is in the public_html folder, no path is needed since...
yes, the one that is for your hosting is what you use for cPanel
you should be able to access cPanel using this address: http://stoli.x10hosting.com:2082
when you signed up you did get to chose your cPanel name and password. I can tell that your cPanel name is mkcity.
Have you configured your co.cc domain over at co.cc? The domain I can see is set as your main domain shows as available on co.cc when I enter it into my browser.
pending creation does indeed mean it is not yet created. Usually the creating is fast, matter of about 10 minutes or so, from the point where you confirmed your email.
You need to set up the name servers only as far as I know, I have personally not used co.cc domains. x10hostings name servers...
that should be possible, however you need a server tech for that, so it will probably be faster to submit a ticket at http://support.x10hosting.com with the request for a cname to be entered, then asking here.
Forums are mainly user to user support.
phpinfo() is as the error says currently disabled.
As soon as the server configurations are completely done functions you had prior to the move should be back.
See this thread for more info: http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-announcements/98362-latest-updates.html
There's some PHP functions that currently are disabled for security.
When everything else is sorted they will be brought back, and if you had access to the function before the work of moving accounts started, you should gain that access back at that point.
it would probably be, as you may NOT use the account for file server.
Not long ago there were no automated backups on the free servers, the r1soft things is relatively new. When I signed up I was told backing up my data were my responsibility...
Though or course x10 made backups when they were...
you probably need to flush your DNS cache, the local "phone book" on your computer have the wrong info for your address.
on windows XP And Below:
1.) Go to start->run.
2.) Type in "cmd" without the quotes.
3.) At the command prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" again without quotes.
I get a white blank page when trying that address... Upon pinging it everything seem ok, it shows the IP your server has.
Have you uploaded any files yet?
EDIT: now I can see the default welcome page for x10hosting. Maybe the reason for your problem simply was DNS hadn't been fully updated yet...
The domain that is listed as your main domain in your account, is not the one you wrote in your post.
co.cc reports the domain you have set as your main domain (cc.co.cc) to be available, I suspect that is why you have problems login in.
over at co.cc you need to reg the domain and configure...
That should be just fine, if you run into any problems during the signup process please submit a ticket at http://support.x10hosting.com and let us know.
It would only be against the TOS if he actually got a working account, as it is now he doesn't, therefor he can try the signup again. Please...
