The "retrieval" would in this case be re-creating the account server side, if you have any databases you would need to back them up using the export function in phpMyAdmin first though.

The ONLY thing you can retrieve at this point is databases, if you have any.
Files are sadly completely lost unless you already have backups of them on your local computer.

As an addition I can say that the requirement is to log in to the forums at least once every 31 days to keep an account active, when I signed up the requirement was set at once every 14 days, failing to do so your account will be suspended.
