Starka's having some issues right now that's causing the timing out.

It would have to be interference from an Advertisement breaking the link. It doesn't do that on my end but I do block advertisements for my entire network. I did however give it a shot and it did throw a blank page, so I'm guessing something needs a fixing.

This error normally happens when the MySQL server is under a good amount of load. It should clear up though if it doesn't or has not already, let us know.

I can see how this can get some webmasters angry, especially for those running forums which can be unpredictable in how they are read by others. Other than that, since I don't see Advertisements it doesn't really affect me.

All depends on what you are using it for. Desktops are more suitable for flexibility and power hungry apps than the general Laptop tends to be. I use my desktop a ton being a gamer.
