Theres no reason you shouldnt be able to delete your own file, assuming you mean a file.. If you mean account, post in the delete/downgrade/upgrade forum with why.

Try clicking the "always accept" button under MX entries on your cpanel, Ive seen this problem for a few people and this has solved it for them.
