We are an independent company. x10hosting is the company name, InfinityFree just happens to be the name of our free plan and has been so for many years (just like the premium base plan is called Infinity).

That error indicates that it is present on our nameservers, so it would indeed seem like it has been added at some point, this would include having it set as a pointer. I have cleared this so you should now be able to add it in your account.
